is the owner of Soleil Acupuncture, PLLC and is a board-certified Acupuncturist (L.Ac) and a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist (CMTPT/DN).

He graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018 with a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Massage Therapy. He specializes in Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Trigger Point Dry Needling, Male Pelvic Floor disorders and Stress Management.

Maor is passionate about helping people feel their best and uses a combination of acupuncture, dry needling and manual therapy to provide specialized care to those suffering from acute and chronic injuries, as well as complex sports injuries. 

He has taken extensive post-graduate courses in dry needling, pelvic floor health and neurofunctional acupuncture. He supports the body’s own intrinsic knowledge of healing through acupuncture, electo-acupuncture, dry needling, myofascial release/manual therapy, moxibustion, gua sha and cupping.  Principally, Maor’s approach to treatment is anchored in a deep understanding not just of a patient’s symptoms but also the behavioral and psychological changes that may have contributed to them. 

Maor grew up in Belgium and has been living in NYC for almost 20 years. He is fluent in five languages. This background taught him early on to appreciate the uniqueness of individuals. And that understanding is evident in his individualized treatment plans for each of his patients.
